I am a bit backlogged on blogging about some great shoots over the last few months, but I couldn’t wait to post some preliminary shots from the amazing experience I had over the last week.
I am truly honored to be a part of this organization, which brings together type 1 diabetic athletes with youth through the Triabuddies mentoring program.
As part of the program, the 14 triabuddies- 9-12 year old from around the country- met up in Santa Barbara for a sailing adventure to the Channel Islands. We spent three magical days sailing, sea kayaking and exploring the islands. From there we drove to Phoenix for a completely different, but equally as inspiring and exciting part of the journey. We watched our friends and fellow diabetics as they completed the grueling event and became IRONMEN!
Thanks to everyone- the kids, the parents and the athletes! More photos to come, but here are a few for now.
