Nicole and Michael couldn’t have been more fun to work with. We went out along the shores of Lake Dillon, and had a great morning. Even with the squall that blew in! They are celebrating their 5th year anniversary and enjoying a few years in the mountains of Colorado before returning to their native Texas. Looking forward to doing a winter shoot out on the slopes this year, you two!!
Meet little Tyler. He is the sweetest thing and I couldn’t be happier for Chris and Amy! I love this part of my work. Being around new families and especially babies, always brings me back around- away from my to do list and the countless things running through my head. Back to what is really important- our families, our friends and the people in our lives.
I look forward to documenting this beautiful family for years to come!

This wedding was the perfect mountain wedding that reflected the couple in every way… Simple, elegant and beautiful. The ceremony in the clearing in the woods, the band, and good food and wine to be enjoyed by all. The photo booth was a big hit too, see below for a few fun shots from the booth!

I have been to a lot of athletic events over the years. And for the most part, I have been participating. However, I have to say, there is something really fun about watching an event. Especially one like an Ironman. I have been to a few now and they are so inspiring. Of course, it is awesome to see the pro athletes performing at the peak of human ability. But it is equally as amazing to see the everyday competitor- the individuals who are balancing work, life, families, friends and all of the other commitments we all have. These individuals are pushing past everyday limiting beliefs that we create in our heads and are out there doing it! Seeing their excitement and the cheers from their friends and family is something that will inspire you and bring a tear to your eye.

This wedding was so sweet and simple… Just the way Anne-Barrie and Randall described it when we met several months ago. I covered this Boulder wedding for Melissa Beck Photography- of course wishing she had been there too!
I especially loved that Anne-Barrie didn’t wear any shoes… all day. Even as we were out tromping through the fields, she was in her bare feet and natural as could be. Maybe that really had to do with the fact that it was over 100 degrees on that beautiful Colorado summer day!
