One of the things I love about my job is mixing business and pleasure. My husband and I just returned from the greatest vacation in Austria and Northern Italy and while we were there, I got to “work”. Aside from shooting a handful of stock and adventure travel days, which really felt more like documenting our trip, I also did a portrait session for this beautiful family in Graz. I spent two years living in Graz during and after college (I went for a semester and stayed for two years), so it was so fun to go back and see old friends, enjoy the beautiful culture and indulge in the ice cream. Between the bakeries and the ice cream shops (Italian style gelato) you have to burn some serious calories if you want to maintain your girlish figure! Alas, it is probably a good thing I don’t live there any more!!
