I have been to a lot of athletic events over the years. And for the most part, I have been participating. However, I have to say, there is something really fun about watching an event. Especially one like an Ironman. I have been to a few now and they are so inspiring. Of course, it is awesome to see the pro athletes performing at the peak of human ability. But it is equally as amazing to see the everyday competitor- the individuals who are balancing work, life, families, friends and all of the other commitments we all have. These individuals are pushing past everyday limiting beliefs that we create in our heads and are out there doing it! Seeing their excitement and the cheers from their friends and family is something that will inspire you and bring a tear to your eye.
Here are some shots from yesterday’s Ironman 70.3 event in Boulder which my fiancé, Sean, completed. Congrats, love!
Congrats to your fiance! I have so much admiration and respect for someone capable of pushing their body to those kind of limits. It’s truly amazing.
Beautiful photos! Congrats to Sean!
