First, let’s chat about your vision and get your adventure on the calendar. I’ll choose the perfect location based on your needs/wants and offer color palette and outfit suggestions.

On the day of, we’ll make any small location tweaks if necessary (in case of inclement weather or current wildflower status) and arrive on location. I’ll bring props and extras as options – sleds, blankets, etc. Then we’ll have fun! We’ll create a relaxed and beautiful scene that results in timeless and candid photos for you and your family. We typically play around for about an hour!
03.
Your hi-res images will be available to view and download from your personal online gallery within two weeks of your experience. From there, you can share, print and display to your heart’s content!

What if the kids don’t smile?
Leave this one to me! It’s my goal to get your whole family in a fun and authentic setting they’ll actually enjoy. So the smiles come naturally! But as a mom of two young ones and 15+ years of family photography experience, I have a bag of tricks for even the grumpiest, poutiest, and hangriest moods.
What should we wear?
After I hear about your specific needs and we plan your session, I’ll offer detailed outfit recommendations for whoever will be involved in the pics. And I’ll even help with final selections if you’d like! I’m here for you :)
What if the weather is bad?
Knowing Vail Valley and Summit County inside and out is one of my superpowers! I’ll always have a backup plan if weather interferes with our location and we’ll never have to take it indoors. It’s guaranteed to be beautiful! Unexpected snow has made for tons of cuddly and playful shoots. And if dangerous conditions arise, we’ll reschedule.
What if I’m awkward about taking photos?
That’s the beauty of our adventure! I’ll foster a relaxed environment that’s fun and we’ll be playing around in the snow or wildflowers with amazing backdrops. No forced and rigid poses allowed!
